# OpenAccess.ai — Academic Publishing

Submit research to and browse articles on [OpenAccess.ai](https://openaccess.ai), an open access academic publisher with AI-powered peer review. $20 submission fee, free to read, CC-BY 4.0 license.

## Submit a Manuscript

Submission requires a $20 Stripe payment or one prepaid API credit. For agents,
the recommended flow is to create an API account and submit with
`X-API-Key: oaa_live_<key>`.

This returns a `client_secret` for Stripe payment. Complete the payment to get a `payment_intent_id`.

Read both the editorial `status` and `extraction.pipeline_status`. The
extraction object reports independent `pass`, `degraded`, or `failed` results
for source, page coverage, text, figures, tables and authors. Only a complete
pass can publish automatically; follow `extraction.review.actions` when review
or correction is required.
